Why should you hire a NATE Certified, Licensed Contractor?
A NATE certification is not required to be a licensed contractor; however, a NATE certified contractor has gone through some of the most rigorous HVAC training in the field. Most often people that take the time to get certified are more likely to enjoy their job, are more likely to stay with it a long time, and are more likely to do the job right the first time. The applicant also may be subjected to a criminal history background check, and must not have any unresolved contracting complaints outstanding. Read more about this topic.
